Founded in 1635, Eötvös Loránd (ELTE) is the the most popular university in Hungary with around 30,000 students (3,000 of which are international and 1,000 are Erasmus+ students). This university had 8 departments and has produced 5 Nobel Prize winners. 

The Mathematics department is located in a modern building on the Buda side of the city.

The beautiful capital city, Budapest, has much to offer such as the Buda Castle and Andrássy Avenue, both recognized by UNESCO as World Heritage Sites, and thermal baths.
