Objectifs

Apply "classical" statistical methods to data from sample surveys, taking into account weights and sample design.

Plan

The course consists of 2 parts, based on 2 statistical and econometric approaches

Review of survey theory

Estimation and precision of parameters: total means, proportions, ratios, quantiles

Discrete law goodness-of-fit tests, independence tests

Linear regression model

Logistic regression model

Computer implementation (SAS, Stata, R)
