A Look Back at the 2023 ENSAI Economics Days
The 30th edition of the ENSAI Economics Days took place on May 11 and 12. Organized by the Center for Research in Economics and Statistics (CREST), together with ENSAI, University College London (UCL) and Northwestern University (NU), the workshop gathered international scholars from various fields working on Macroeconomics.
Over two days, invited speakers and researchers from the audience discussed the recent advances in Macroeconomics.
“The quality of the conference was super high, and the limited number of presentations allowed for a lot of interactions between participants. A warm thank you to all the speakers and attendants who made the 2023 edition of the ENSAI Economics Days a great conference”, Stéphane Auray, Professor of Economics at ENSAI and head of the local organizing committee.
The following papers were presented:
Lawrence Christiano (Northwestern University), “Learning in DSGE models”
Michael Devereux (Vancouver School of Economics), “Collateral Advantage: Exchange Rates, Capital Flows, and Global Cycles”
Sergio Rebelo (Northwestern University), “Expectations, Infections and Economic Activity”
Aurélien Eyquem (University of Lausanne), “Markups, Taxes, and Rising Inequality”
Ester Faia (Goethe University Frankfurt), “The Cost of Wage Rigidity”
Patrick Fève (Toulouse School of Economics), “Dynamic Identification in VARs”
Alan Olivi (University College London), “Monetary Policy During a Cost of Living Crisis”
Morten Ravn (University College London), “Foreign Portfolios and Domestic Business Cycles with Heterogeneous Agents”
