Master’s Transfer Students

Master in Data Science for Public Decision Making

This degree is open to students who have already completed the first year of the Master’s program or equivalent level of studies (Bac+4). Transfer student admission procedures are staggered between April and the end of May.

Insee civil servant statisticians can also undertake this program as continuous diploma-awarding training (after two years of initial education) or postpone it for a later date (up to the five first years of professional life as an Insee civil servant).

Master for Smart Data Science

The Master for Smart Data Science is open to students of all nationalities. Candidates with professional experience are welcome.

All applicants must have a minimum of 4 years of higher education equivalent to 240 ECTS credits (at least a 4-year Bachelor’s degree or the first year of a Master’s degree). A strong statistical, mathematical, and computer science background is required. Successful candidates are selected based on degrees, academic results, and skills. More detailed information about specific scientific prerequisite knowledge is listed on the Smart Data Prerequisites page. 

Candidates with degrees from non-EU countries must provide GRE revised General Test results (http://www.ets.org/gre) or equivalent such as GMAT, TAGE MAGE, etc.

This Program is taught entirely in English. Non-native English speakers must provide proof of a minimum B2 level (CEFR scale) in English by providing valid results from a recognized language certification such as the TOEIC, TOEFL, IELTS, CLES, etc.
